Diyala: A National Security force arrested six employees of the Diyala Health Department on charges of corruption and manipulating medical committee reports.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a government source revealed that the arrested individuals include doctors accused of altering medical committee reports and disability percentages granted to patients and employees, particularly those applying for early retirement due to health issues. The arrests aim to verify the allegations and complete the investigative process. The detainees have been transferred to a security detention center for further investigation and to initiate necessary legal actions.

This operation follows the earlier arrest of three other Diyala Health Department employees this week by a special security force. These individuals face charges related to financial and administrative corruption, including accepting bribes from patients.
