SJC and Saudi Arabia Discuss Strengthening Judicial and Legal Cooperation


Riyadh: The Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, met with the Saudi Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, to discuss reinforcing joint cooperation in the judicial and legal fields between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.



According to Iraqi News Agency, the Judicial Media Office released a statement indicating that Judge Faiq Zaidan’s meeting with Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani aimed to explore ways to enhance collaboration between the two nations’ judicial systems. The dialogue emphasized the importance of partnership in legal matters and judicial processes.



The statement further elaborated on the visit, noting that Judge Faiq Zaidan arrived in Riyadh earlier today at the invitation of the Saudi Minister of Justice. He was accompanied by a high-profile judicial delegation, including the Chief Prosecutor, the Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, and the Director General of the General Department of Judicial Protection.
