MADRID: Spain has officially requested that European Union member states suspend their free trade agreement with the Zionist entity, citing repeated violations in Gaza and Lebanon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced the move during a press statement, highlighting the need for action in light of ongoing issues in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Sanchez emphasized that the suspension of the trade agreement is crucial due to the breaches of the agreement’s human rights clauses by the Zionist entity.

Discussions about the free trade agreement have been ongoing for several months, with Spain and Ireland at the forefront of talks with other EU countries. The focus has been particularly on the human rights aspects of the agreement, which they argue are being violated.

In addition to the call for the suspension of the trade agreement, Prime Minister Sanchez recently urged the international community to halt the sale of weapons to the Zionist entity. This appeal foll
