Baghdad: Special voting for the House of Representatives elections has begun in more than 800 polling stations. The special voting process began at 7:00 a.m. today, with the participation of more than 1.3 million voters from the military and displaced populations, distributed across 809 polling centers that include 4,501 polling stations throughout the country. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced that it had prepared more than 1.5 million ballot papers, along with additional reserve papers, to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the electoral process, which will continue until 6:00 p.m., the scheduled closing time for special voting.
