State Forces Alliance and Kurdish Delegation Discuss Enactment of Crucial National Laws


Baghdad: The State Forces Alliance engaged in discussions with a Kurdish delegation on Monday regarding the enactment of laws deemed to be of national and crucial importance, impacting the lives of citizens across the country.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the State Forces Alliance hosted a delegation from the Kurdish blocs, led by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah. The meeting included participation from heads of the Kurdish blocs and aimed at fostering communication and joint coordination among the political forces.



During their discussions, the parties reviewed a series of legislative proposals that the Parliament plans to advance in the near future. These proposals include laws of a national and crucial nature, designed to influence citizens’ lives positively and bolster the nation’s stability.



Additionally, the meeting covered the mechanisms of parliamentary and legislative work for the remaining parliamentary term. Both parties emphasized the need to intensify parliamentary efforts to improve legislative and oversight functions, aligning with the Iraqi people’s aspirations for reform, justice, and development.



Faleh Al-Sari, head of the State Forces Alliance, highlighted the significance of maintaining constructive dialogue among national forces. He urged prioritizing the public interest and promoting teamwork to address the current political and legislative challenges effectively.
