Baghdad: The Supreme Hajj and Umrah Authority has announced an extension of the electronic application period for the Hajj lottery covering the years 2027 through 2030. Applicants will now have an additional three days to submit their applications for the lottery.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority made this decision to accommodate more applicants who were unable to complete the process during the initial ten-day period. The updated deadline for submissions is set for Saturday, July 25, 2026.

The Authority also highlighted its plan to facilitate family reunions through this process. A dedicated link will be provided for applicants wishing to reunite with family members, with the condition that both parties have applied within the designated registration timeframe.
