Baghdad: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, delivered a significant message today, expressing greetings, peace, and profound appreciation to the Grand Ayatollahs, scholars, and distinguished figures in the seminaries and universities of Iraq. His message also reached out to tribal leaders, sheikhs, and the noble Iraqi people, highlighting their sacrifices and unity with the Iranian people.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the unprecedented unity demonstrated during the million-strong funeral procession for a martyred leader, which he described as an embodiment of the shared path and brotherhood between Iraq and Iran. The Supreme Leader remarked that the event had shaken the foundations of arrogant powers, illustrating the failure of their attempts to undermine the relationship between the two nations.
The Supreme Leader acknowledged the attendance of tens of millions in both countries to mourn the martyred Imam, marking a new chapter of awakening that challenges the dominance previously held by foreign powers.
