Diyala: A suspected terrorist and two others were apprehended by joint security forces on charges of theft in Diyala. The arrests took place during a security operation conducted by the Diyala Police and detachments from the National Security Directorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the operation occurred in the Al-Dur Al-Zira'a area, northwest of Baquba. It led to the arrest of a suspect wanted under Article 4 of the Counter-Terrorism Law. The suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures.

In a related operation, another security force detained two individuals accused of stealing water pumps from the banks of the Diyala River and its tributaries in the Bani Saad district, located southwest of Baquba. Legal measures have been initiated against these suspects, and they have been referred to the competent authorities for further legal proceedings.
