Diwaniyah:Ten officers and personnel from the Civil Defense Directorate in Diwaniyah Governorate sustained injuries after a tanker transporting petroleum products exploded. They were attempting to control a fire that had erupted in the vehicle.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the injured individuals were taken to a specialized burns center for medical treatment.
