Tehran Announces Indirect Talks with Washington in Oman Next Saturday


Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced on Tuesday that Iranian and American officials will hold high-level indirect negotiations regarding Tehran’s nuclear program on Saturday in the Sultanate of Oman. Araqchi conveyed this development through the X platform, highlighting the significance of the upcoming discussions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi stated: “Iran will meet with the United States in the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday for high-level indirect talks.” The minister underscored the dual nature of the talks, calling them both an opportunity and a test for the involved parties. He emphasized that the current situation places the responsibility on the United States, remarking that “the ball is now in America’s court.”
