Brussels: European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas said that the war in Gaza is becoming more dangerous by the day, stressing that "a military solution is not the way to end the war." According to National Iraqi News Agency, Kallas added, in a post on her official account on the X platform, that "if a military solution were possible, the war would already have ended." She indicated that the European Union's current priorities focus on providing humanitarian support, enabling non-governmental organizations to access the Gaza Strip, and seeking an immediate ceasefire. For more than 22 months, the Israeli occupation, with full American support, has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip in a campaign internationally described as genocide, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, despite orders from the International Court of Justice to halt operations and comply with international law. The aggression has left approximately 215,000 Palest inians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.
