Anbar: Anbar Governor Omar Mishaan Dabbous inaugurated the Al-Baghdadi Maternity and Emergency Hospital on Tuesday, emphasizing its importance in enhancing healthcare services for residents of Al-Baghdadi district and surrounding areas.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Anbar Governor’s Media Office stated in a press release: “Anbar Governor Omar Mishaan Dabbous, accompanied by the Director General of the Anbar Health Department, Khudair Khalaf Shallal, inaugurated the Al-Baghdadi Maternity and Emergency Hospital in the presence of Anbar Provincial Council member Anmar Al-Sadran, several officials from Al-Baghdadi district, and the hospital’s medical, health, and administrative staff.”
The statement added, “The hospital includes operating and delivery rooms, inpatient wards, and an emergency department. It is equipped with modern medical equipment, medical furniture, ambulances, and furnished offices for doctors, in addition to being staffed with the necessary medical and health personnel to work in its various departments.”
The statement continued, “The hospital’s opening comes within the framework of supporting and developing healthcare services in Al-Baghdadi district and surrounding areas, providing comprehensive medical services that contribute to meeting citizens’ needs and improving the level of healthcare provided to them.”
During the opening ceremony, the Governor of Anbar emphasized the importance of the hospital in enhancing healthcare services for residents of Al-Baghdadi district and surrounding areas. He also noted the continued support for healthcare institutions and the provision of their needs to improve the overall health situation.
For his part, the Director General of the Anbar Health Department affirmed that the hospital’s opening represents a significant addition to the district’s healthcare sector and will contribute to providing comprehensive medical services more accessible to citizens.
