Babylon: The head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, Ali Obeid Shalgham, visited the Babylon Antiquities Inspectorate and held a meeting with the Inspector of Babylon Antiquities and Heritage, Adel Kadhim Al-Aifawi. During their discussions, they focused on administrative and technical matters integral to the inspectorate’s operations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Shalgham emphasized the importance of pursuing legal actions against individuals encroaching on archaeological sites. He addressed the employees’ requests and concerns, highlighting the need for unified efforts to present the ancient city of Babylon in its best form.
