Baghdad: The Central Criminal Court for Combating Corruption announced the seizure of 27 billion Iraqi dinars in connection with the case involving Adnan Al-Jumaili, the detained Deputy Oil Minister for Refining Affairs. According to Iraqi News Agency, the Judiciary revealed that the investigative judge at the Central Criminal Court for Combating Corruption confirmed the seizure. The funds were traced as part of a financial investigation linked to alleged misappropriation in projects managed by Al-Jumaili and other parties implicated in the case.

The judiciary’s statement highlighted that authorities were able to identify and recover the funds through thorough monitoring. These funds had been concealed by several individuals connected to the alleged corruption activities.
