Baghdad: Detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate arrested three terrorists in Baghdad and Nineveh.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a press release that the arrests were made based on intelligence information. The operations involved well-executed ambushes conducted separately by the intelligence and security departments of the 16th and 17th Divisions, in cooperation with security agencies.

The press release further mentioned that arrest warrants had been previously issued against the individuals in accordance with Article (1/4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them.
