Baghdad: Iraqi Minister of Justice, Khalid Shawani, met today, Sunday, with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Mohammed Al-Zaman, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the judicial and legal fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Justice indicated that “Minister of Justice, Khalid Shawani, received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Mohammed Al-Zaman, at the ministry headquarters.”

The statement added that “during the meeting, they discussed enhancing joint cooperation in the judicial and legal fields between the two sides, in addition to discussing the conditions of Kuwaiti inmates in correctional facilities, in a way that guarantees the mutual interests of both countries.”
