– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciated the statements and positions of brotherly and friendly countries and their standing by the government and people of Iraq following the fire that occurred last Monday evening, at “Imam Hussein” Hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens, expressing their sincere condolences to the government and the people of Iraq in this painful affliction.

In a statement, the ministry reiterated: Great thanks and appreciation for the international position in support of the Iraqi people, and we also have mercy on the souls of the martyrs and pray for their forgiveness and for their families with patience and solace, and for the wounded a speedy recovery
