The Ministry Of Planning And World Bank Conduct Joint Review Of Iraq Reform Program


Baghdad: The Ministry of Planning held a joint meeting today with the World Bank representative, with participation from government agencies including the Ministries of Environment, Labor, Social Affairs, and Agriculture. The meeting focused on discussing the outcomes of the review meetings conducted over the past two months, which covered the three major projects funded by the Iraq Reform, Recovery, and Reconstruction Fund.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director General of the International Cooperation Department, Saher Abdul-Kazem Mahdi, stated that the projects under review include the Farm Management Improvement Support Project for the Ministry of Agriculture, the Pollutant Management Project for the Ministry of Environment, and the Pilot Program for Economic Models in Dhi Qar Governorate for the Ministry of Labor.



The meeting also addressed the delays in finalizing the procedures for signing grant agreements between the three government agencies and the World Bank.
