Najaf: A Christian delegation, including Patriarch Mar Paul III Nona, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, and the Papal Nuncio to Iraq, Archbishop Miroslav Stanislaw Wachovsky, visited the Najaf Governorate Council on Wednesday. They were received by the Deputy Head of the Council, Majid Al-Abidi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Council’s Media Center stated that the Papal delegation came to Najaf at the invitation of a think tank that supports coexistence among different religious communities.
