Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has mandated the continuation of the investigation into the death of Dr. Ban Ziad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a government source revealed that al-Sudani has emphasized a stringent follow-up on the investigation concerning the causes behind the Basra doctor’s death. The Prime Minister has highlighted the urgency of making the investigation results available to the public swiftly.

The source further stated that al-Sudani has insisted that the investigation remains free from any political manipulation, underscoring the importance of an impartial process.
