Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi participated today, Sunday, in a Husseini mourning ceremony held by Hadi al-Amiri, the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization. The event took place in Baghdad on the occasion of the month of Muharram, a significant period for commemorating the historical Battle of Karbala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony aimed to renew the values and principles such as patience, reform, and sacrifice, which are central themes of the Battle of Karbala. The event served as a platform for reflection and reaffirmation of these enduring values as part of the Husseini tradition.
