Baghdad: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, engaged in discussions with Mohammed Al-Hassan, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, concerning judicial procedures pertinent to the electoral preparations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Judicial Council’s media office released a statement indicating that Judge Faiq Zaidan welcomed the UN Special Representative, Mohammed Al-Hassan, on Tuesday. Their discussions centered around the judicial measures in place as Iraq prepares for its upcoming parliamentary elections.
