Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the new Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Khalil Abdullah, on Monday. The meeting marked the beginning of Ambassador Abdullah’s official duties in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Judge Faiq Zaidan congratulated Ambassador Khalil Abdullah on his new position. During their meeting, they discussed potential avenues to strengthen cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon, particularly in the judicial and legal sectors.
