Baghdad: The Tunisian Embassy in Baghdad issued a message to its citizens in Iraq on Sunday, urging them to exercise extreme caution.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the embassy said the message was issued “in light of the current situation in the region,” emphasizing “the need to respect the measures taken by the Iraqi authorities regarding gatherings in certain areas of the capital, particularly the Green Zone.”
The embassy called on “members of the Tunisian community residing in Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, and visitors, to stay away from military areas and avoid touching any suspicious objects such as missile remnants and shrapnel.”
The embassy affirmed that it “continues to monitor the situation of the Tunisian community and address all their concerns to ensure their safety.”
