Third Karkh Investigation Court Announces Liberation of Kidnapped Individual


Baghdad: The Third Karkh Investigation Court in the Presidency of the Baghdad Court of Appeal / Karkh has announced the liberation of a kidnapped individual following a six-month ordeal. The operation was conducted under the supervision of a competent judge and involved coordination with the National Security Service.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council released a statement detailing the successful rescue operation. The statement confirmed that the kidnapped person was located and freed, and subsequently reunited with their family. Additionally, the accused responsible for the kidnapping was apprehended six months after the incident.



The statement further elaborated that the family of the kidnapped individual had sought the intervention of the Supreme Judicial Council to ensure the safe return of their son. This led to the Third Karkh Investigation Court being directed to take decisive action, resulting in the eventual liberation of the kidnapped person, their reunion with their family, and the arrest of the accused.
