Diyala: Three people were involved in a fatal traffic accident on a vital road north of Baquba, resulting in two deaths and one injury. The incident occurred on the Kirkuk-Baghdad road, near Al-Khalis town.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that the accident was caused by a collision between two vehicles. The crash led to the deaths of a man and a woman, while another person sustained injuries. The collision also caused significant damage to both vehicles.

Ambulance crews were dispatched to the accident site to transport the deceased to the forensic medicine department and the injured individual to a hospital for treatment.
