Amarah: A security force from the town’s police station in Maysan Governorate arrested three suspects during field security operations carried out in various areas of Amarah city.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Maysan Police Command, a copy of which was received by the agency, stated: “The arrests came after careful monitoring and intelligence gathering, followed by well-planned field operations that included cordon and search procedures carried out in separate operations, resulting in the arrest of the suspects without any incidents.”

The statement confirmed that the necessary legal measures were taken against the suspects, and they were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the investigations according to established legal procedures. It also noted that security operations will continue to pursue wanted individuals and enhance security in the governorate.
