Wasit: Three people were killed and 11 others injured in a traffic accident north of Wasit. The incident occurred on the road linking Al-Aziziyah and Al-Suwaira districts, north of Wasit Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Wasit Health Director General Dr. Jabbar Al-Yasiri reported that the accident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, comprising two Iraqis and one Iranian. The injured count reached 11, with the group including nine Iranian pilgrims and two Iraqis.

Dr. Al-Yasiri further stated that ambulance teams were quick to respond to the accident. The injured were transported to Al-Zahraa, Al-Karama, and Al-Istithmari hospitals for medical treatment.
