Trkiye Summons Ukrainian Ambassador After Black Sea Vessel Attacks


Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara, Neriman Celal, following attacks on two Turkish vessels in the Black Sea. The incidents involved a Turkish vessel operated by Leader Bordo Mavi and another vessel, Leader Kocatepe, which was dispatched to tow the first vessel.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ukrainian ambassador was called to the ministry headquarters after the attacks occurred off the coast of Tuapse last Thursday. The Turkish side expressed its condemnation of the attacks and stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of lives, property, maritime navigation, and the environment in the Black Sea.
