Baghdad: US President Donald Trump predicted that oil prices would return to what they were four months ago, before the war with Iran, during a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Trump added that “the memorandum of understanding with Iran is very strong and prevents it from acquiring nuclear weapons.” He emphasized that the agreement would serve as a barrier against Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, highlighting the significance of the agreement in maintaining regional stability.

The G7 summit in France provided a platform for discussions on various global issues, where Trump’s remarks on oil prices and the Iran agreement were particularly noteworthy. The prediction regarding oil prices suggests a potential stabilization in the global oil market, which has been influenced by geopolitical tensions in recent months.
