Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to take legal action by appealing to the Supreme Court following an unfavorable decision by the appeals court regarding tariffs. Trump made this announcement during a series of press statements, highlighting his administration’s commitment to pursuing the matter at the highest judicial level in the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump also addressed the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, reporting a significant loss of over 7,000 soldiers from both sides in the past week. He expressed his desire for an end to the hostilities and assured that developments in the situation would be forthcoming.
Additionally, Trump disclosed plans to deploy National Guard forces to Chicago, although he refrained from providing specific timing for the deployment. He reassured that Washington, D.C., is secure following the recent deployment of National Guard forces there.
The President further mentioned the necessity for a considerable reduction in interest rates, reiterating his intention to appeal the appeals court’s decision on tariffs to the Supreme Court promptly.
