Istanbul: The Turkish Ministry of Trade announced on Monday that it plans to expand its maritime export network to cover 60 countries by 2026, exceeding its previous target of reaching 55 countries by 2025. Iraq remains one of the most significant markets for Turkish exports, benefiting from the wide range of products shipped to the country. These exports span multiple sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, forestry, fishing, mining, and quarrying, which together account for the largest share of Turkey’s total exports.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iraq’s strong position within these key markets highlights the sustained demand for Turkish goods, driven by geographical proximity, efficient transportation routes, and the diversity of available supplies.
