Ankara: Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Oral Oglu, has announced plans to rejuvenate the highway and mobile phone networks in Syria. This development is part of Turkey’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Oral Oglu emphasized the involvement of Turkish companies in the field of GSM communications within Syria. These companies are actively working to restore their operations to normal levels with the support of the Turkish government. The minister further revealed plans to enhance the functionality of Damascus and Aleppo airports, which currently lack radar systems, with the aim to resume flights in the future.

Oral Oglu also mentioned Turkey’s strategic decisions concerning roads and railways, indicating potential improvements that could lead to significant benefits for the general public. Such infrastructure advancements are expected to facilitate better transportation and communication channels, contributing to Syria’s recovery and development.
