Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in discussions with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani concerning the reconstruction of Syria, government formation, and efforts to combat terrorist organizations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place between Fidan and al-Shaibani on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference. Key topics included the reconstruction of Syria and the ongoing process of forming a government in the war-torn country.

Additionally, Turkish Foreign Ministry sources confirmed that the talks also focused on combating terrorist organizations operating within Syria, specifically addressing threats posed by ISIS and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.
