Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the latest regional developments with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan expressed his wishes for the Kingdom’s safety during a phone call with the Crown Prince following attacks stemming from Iran’s targeting of US bases within Saudi territory.
During the call, the Turkish President stressed that the lack of necessary intervention to contain the situation could lead to serious consequences for regional and global security.
Erdogan indicated that Turkey and Saudi Arabia have made serious efforts to resolve their differences through dialogue, emphasizing the need to give diplomacy a chance, which he described as the most rational approach.
