Turkish President Declares End of Old World Order, Asserts Dominance of the Strong

Baghdad: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that the old world order has been dismantled, ushering in a global system where power prevails, and the strong dictate the rules.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan made this assertion during an Iftar dinner with Turkish Parliament members. He remarked, “The principles symbolized by the United Nations system have become idols, devoured by the founders of this system when they are hungry.”

Erdogan further criticized those who historically championed law, human rights, and freedoms, accusing them of now disregarding these values and not hesitating to violate them. He clarified Turkey’s stance on regional and humanitarian matters, asserting that the nation advocates for peace, stability, universal values, justice, and development over wars and conflict.

He underscored the importance of diplomacy as the solution, stating that Turkey supports justice, truth, and the preservation of human life globally. Erdogan asserted, “We are not with murder, genocide, or those who perpetrate them.”

Amidst regional tensions and missile threats, Erdogan assured that his government remains vigilant to protect Turkey’s 86 million citizens.
