Turkish Vice President Arrives in Saudi Arabia to Attend Future Investment Initiative Economic Forum


Riyadh: Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, last night to participate in the ninth Future Investment Initiative Forum. Yilmaz is accompanied on his visit to Riyadh by Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek and a number of Turkish officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ninth Future Investment Initiative meetings kicked off in Riyadh last night under the theme “Key to Prosperity” and will continue until the 30th of this month. The forum is held annually in Riyadh with broad participation from international institutions and multinational companies. It is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to attract foreign investment and diversify the economy away from oil as part of the “Saudi Vision 2030” program.
