Baghdad: The Turkmen Framework Bloc has announced its support for the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, emphasizing that this position rightfully belongs to their Sunni colleagues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the bloc issued a press statement urging representatives from various political factions to fulfill their responsibilities and settle this crucial matter. Additionally, the bloc called on other political groups to address the ongoing marginalization of the Turkmen community, which they described as the “third main component in Iraq,” within state departments.
