Baghdad: Two people were arrested in Baghdad on charges of practicing magic and sorcery. Security forces arrested two individuals in Baghdad, caught in the act of practicing witchcraft, sorcery, and defrauding citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior stated in a press release: “The suspects were apprehended in a well-planned ambush after receiving precise information about their whereabouts.” The statement added: “Materials and tools used in witchcraft and sorcery were seized from the suspects, and they have been detained pending legal proceedings.”
