Two Bodies of ISIS Victims Recovered in Old Mosul


Mosul: Civil Defense teams recovered two bodies of ISIS victims during rubble removal operations in Old Mosul. A Civil Defense source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The two bodies were handed over to the forensic medicine department in Mosul.”



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the recovery operation was part of ongoing efforts to clear debris in areas that were heavily affected by the conflict with ISIS. The operation aims to restore normalcy and ensure the area is safe for residents returning to their homes.



The Civil Defense teams have been working systematically to locate and recover bodies of victims, providing closure to families and aiding in the identification process conducted by the forensic medicine department. These efforts are crucial in addressing the aftermath of the prolonged conflict in the region.
