Baghdad: In a significant operation, Baghdad Operations Command forces have successfully seized a gambling hall and apprehended 24 suspects. Among those arrested were 16 individuals who violated the terms and conditions of the Residency and Citizenship Department.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Baghdad Operations Command detailed that their forces undertook a comprehensive operation, targeting various areas including Al-Bataween, Al-Hay Al-Askari, Al-Murtada neighborhood, Al-Sayyidiya, Al-Zafaraniya, Al-Baladiyat, Al-Ra’isah, New Baghdad, Sara Camp, Al-Mustafa neighborhood, and Al-Argaibat-Abu Ghraib. The operation spanned both sides of Karkh and Rusafa, leading to the arrest of suspects involved in crimes such as drug trafficking, theft, and armed conflicts. Additionally, weapons were seized during the operation.

The command further stated that all suspects, along with the confiscated weapons and materials, have been handed over to the competent authorities for legal proceedings.
