Diyala: The Diyala Police Command announced the arrest of two suspects in the murder of a citizen in western Baquba two months ago.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the crime was committed in collusion with the victim’s wife, who is the sister of the perpetrators. Immediately after the incident, a specialized security team was formed under the supervision of the Diyala Police Chief, and the victim’s wife was taken into custody.

The Command indicated that the investigations and evidence gathering led to the discovery of the wife’s two brothers’ involvement in the crime. It was proven that they participated in the murder, motivated by a land dispute.
