Hillah: Two women lost their lives on Sunday evening after being hit by a vehicle on 60th Street in central Hillah. The incident occurred while they were participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for the Babil Traffic Police, reported that a speeding car struck the two women as they were crossing the street. The collision led to the immediate deaths of the pilgrims. The authorities responded by transporting the bodies to the forensic medicine department and apprehending the driver involved in the incident.
