Baghdad: Typhoon Noul has struck southern China, causing the evacuation of more than 340,000 individuals as it brought strong winds and heavy rain to the region, including Hong Kong. The severe weather conditions led to the cancellation of numerous flights and train services across Guangdong Province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the China National Meteorological Center stated that the typhoon made its landfall on the coast of Huidong County in Huizhou City. The winds reached speeds of 145 kilometers per hour, prompting authorities to take swift action to ensure public safety.

In response to the typhoon, over 340,000 residents were evacuated from Guangdong Province to safer locations. Train services within the province were halted, and many flights were either suspended or canceled. The alert level in the affected areas was elevated to its highest status to address the situation effectively.

Chinese authorities remain vigilant, closely monitoring the typhoon’s progress and implementing measures
