Washington: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington to meet with US President Donald Trump and European leaders. Zelenskyy announced his arrival on his Twitter page, stating his intentions to meet with Trump and discuss matters with European leaders.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the White House confirmed that Trump’s meeting with Zelenskyy is scheduled for 1:00 AM Washington time. The meeting will be attended by US Vice President J.D. Vance, followed by discussions with European leaders. Key European figures, including the German Chancellor, British Prime Minister, French President, Italian Prime Minister, Finnish President, President of the European Commission, and NATO Secretary General, have confirmed their participation.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that the agenda includes discussions on security guarantees for Ukraine. US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff expressed optimism about reaching an agreement on regional issues concerning the Ukrainian conflict.
