Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities for Cultural Affairs, Dr. Fadhil Al-Badrani, recently chaired a meeting focused on the upcoming Baghdad International Book Fair. The meeting, which included representatives from various departments within the Ministry of Culture, was centered on discussing participation in the fair’s 27th edition, scheduled to occur from September 2 to 12.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Badrani stressed the need for active and dynamic participation from the Ministry’s departments, urging a concentration on the involvement of prominent and distinguished figures. This emphasis aims to elevate the cultural significance of the event.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities is continuing its preparations for the book fair in collaboration with Sada Al-Aref Company. The event promises a range of cultural events and activities, featuring over 600 publishing houses from 23 countries. Additionally, the fair will host ministers and specialists in cultural affairs, enhancing its international appeal and significance.
