Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Sunday that the Gaza Strip needs 500 to 600 aid trucks every day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, UNRWA stated that “a targeted and uninterrupted flow of aid to Gaza is the only way to prevent the current catastrophe from escalating further.” The agency emphasized that “the people of Gaza cannot wait any longer.”

UNRWA added that “the minimum need is 500 to 600 trucks every day, managed by the United Nations, including UNRWA.” Spokesman Adnan Abu Hasna revealed that hundreds of thousands of people in the Gaza Strip are “starving,” with 300,000 Palestinians in “grave danger,” stressing that “the people of the Gaza Strip are dying of hunger or under bombardment.”

Abu Hasna highlighted that the Gaza Strip is experiencing an unprecedented famine and urged Israel to allow the entry of humanitarian aid. He called on the international community to take urgent action to prevent the displacement and confinement of Palestinians in the Rafah area.
