Baghdad:The Spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah Al-Numan, announced that the withdrawal of US and Coalition forces from Iraq is set to be completed by September 30.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Numan confirmed the absence of foreign military bases on Iraqi soil and reassured that the security situation remains stable, with security forces actively deployed across the nation.

He emphasized that the departure of US and Coalition forces will adhere to the previously established timelines. Al-Numan also noted that Iraq maintains control over its entire territory, expressing confidence in the country’s security conditions. As the withdrawal concludes, Iraq’s relationship with the International Coalition is expected to evolve into a new form of bilateral partnership.
