Washington: The United States and Israel plan to launch a campaign against energy infrastructure targets in Iran. American media revealed that the strike plan was discussed during a meeting between former President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Camp David.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the US and Israel aim to conclude the strikes before the markets open on Monday. The potential targets for these strikes could include power plants and oil refineries in Iran. However, the plan has faced opposition from some White House aides who are involved in political affairs and strongly oppose carrying out the strikes on Iran.
