US Central Command Reports Successful Neutralization of Over 200 Iranian Drones


Washington: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Sunday that it had shot down more than 200 Iranian drones. CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper detailed the operation, stating that these drones, which belonged to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), were posing threats to international shipping and US forces.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Admiral Cooper emphasized the scale and success of the mission, revealing that hundreds of decisive strikes had been conducted against IRGC targets. He highlighted that the Iranian navy had been significantly impacted by these operations, demonstrating tactical precision. Admiral Cooper also remarked on the intensity of the naval combat, describing it as the most severe the US Navy has experienced since World War II.
